After a strict tender procedure, PGNIG (the Polish Oil State company) awarded to Geodynamics Worldwide in Q3/2015 the execution of a passive seismic survey. The area is ca. 240 sq km, mostly forested (80%) with agricultural fields and human settlements (20%). Acquisition in the field took ca. 5 weeks. Bilingual HSE plan and ISO certificates were provided to PGNIG as part of the contract requirements. In parallel to the field work, Geodynamics also carried out geodetic measurements. Overall 500 data points were planned and acquired, all 500 overnight, with some measurements over existing wells, which allowed for correlation calculation upon processing and analysis. In addition, Geodynamics performed data integration between the passive seismic results with some G&G information (porosity, pore hydrocarbon thickness, hydrocarbon saturation, etc.) provided by the client. The final report was delivered less than 3 months upon termination of field work.
