In fall 2018, GWW carried out a passive seismic spectroscopy survey in Namibia. The survey was divided into 3 separate grids, targeting the leads identified by available g&g mainly from seismic lines and interpretation, gravity study, and ethane gas concentration, others. The field work was successfully executed in 30 days and acquired 184 data points. The passive seismic results were integrated with the g&g and the outcome brought significant satisfaction and risk reduction as our results matched the findings of the other g&g available. The high correlation helped our client’s management in their next step decision. End-to-end this project was executed in 5 months overall, i.e. since day of signature until delivery of report. Upon client’s approval, GWW will soon publish an abstract of correlation of the various independent data.
